Bironas Gives Back
Grateful for the opportunity to play in the NFL and to be a Tennessee Titan, it is important to Rob to give back. While the Bironas Foundation is in formation, Rob is looking forward to following in the footsteps of fellow Titans such as Vince Young, Keith Bulluck, Travis LaBoy and former Titan, Kevin Carter, by having a focused community giving initiative.
Currently, Rob gives back by being involved in the community and by being accessible to Titans fans all over. Rob's passion for people is evident in the countless appearances he has made in the nonprofit community on behalf of the Tennessee Titans. In 2007 Rob threw the first pitch for ABLE Youth at a Nashville Sounds game and was the honorary chairperson for the Second Harvest Food Bank's "Non Event Patron's Party" held at Tennessee Bank and Trust. He also helped Toys For Tots and Best Buy deliver gifts to children and served as the chair of the St. Jude Golf Tournament as well as donated more than fifty autographed items to various player-sponsored non-profit auctions. Recently, Rob appeared as a player host of the Taste of the NFL at Super Bowl XLII. Since 1992, the event has raised more than $6.2 million for hunger-related causes across the United States.
